Sedbergh International Summer School is uniquely placed within the heart of Northern England. It is around 1.5 hours from cities such as Manchester, Liverpool and Chester, around 2 hours from Newcastle and York, and around 3 hours from Edinburgh. This allows our students to discover more of the UK.
In 2026, the summer school will be held exclusively at the Sedbergh School campus, surrounded by the hills and fells of Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Escorted, shared transfers are available from Manchester airports and the local train station, Oxenholme Lake District. If attending our London & The Lakes Course, students will have an executive coach transfer to/from the capital.
